McFly, named after Marty McFly, consists of a Mexican wrapper over a Honduran binder and tri-country blend of long-fillers from the Dominican, Honduras, and Nicaragua. The blend comes together got notes of nuts and cedar with floral hints and a subtle sweetness.

The Sergeant brand was created by Luciano Meirelles, ACE Prime Cigars’ president and co-founder, to honor the life and times of his close friend and US Marine Sgt. Brian Acevedo, who was one of the most selfless persons Luciano has ever known. According to Meirelles, the Sergeant cigar also honors every military servicemember who is “... committed to unconditional altruism.” The cigar is composed of a savory dark Ecuadorian Habano maduro wrapper with a Connecticut hybrid binder and a Nicaraguan filler. The Sergeant is expertly handmade at Tabacalera Pichardo in Nicaragua.

Alright, let's be honest. When this cigar landed on my desk, I was... less than enthused. I thought maybe the delivery guy dropped it on his way up the stairs, so I went down to the warehouse, and, nope. They all look mangled.

BUT — it actually lit up and burnt pretty damn well. I'm not going to try to convince you this cigar will win any awards. As a matter of fact, I'd bet my life savings this never receives a rating. Be that as it may, for 20 bucks, you could do a helluva lot worse. The flavor is smooth and consistent, delivering an easy draw and a natural tobacco flavor that is perfect for a morning commute. If you're looking for a top-shelf recommendation, move on. If you want something pretty good that'll only cost you a buck a pop - Uncle Buck's your man.
