The wrapper and binder are comprised of Cuban-seed Habano leaves from Jalapa and the filler combines several different Nicaraguan tobaccos from Jalapa, Ometepe and Condega. This cigar is named after the Espada Ropera, an ornate sword worn by civilians as opposed to those used on the battlefield. The lavish character of the Espada can be found not only in the strong spicy flavors, but also in the three decorative bands and ornate box that showcases the cigars.
