Henry Clay Breva Conservas - Henry Clay Breva Conservas cigars. As
one of the most historically famous brands, the Henry Clay name
carries a long, storied tradition of fine cigar making.
Henry Clay is one of the oldest original Havana brands, quoted in a
poem entitled The Betrothed, penned in 1898 by Rudyard Kipling
("there's calm in a Henry Clay"). Following the same design as the
first Havana Henry Clay cigars, the original Julian Alvarez factory
is still featured on the box. The cigars are now rolled in the
Dominican Republic by the worlds leading cigar maker. Made in La
Romana (home to several leading Dominican cigars) only 3 sizes were
in production until recently. The introduction of the Habana 2000
wrapper invited the expansion of the line and was incorporated into
new sizes including the popular Box Pressed Mirabella and Corona
Gorda. Henry Clay cigars were among the first in the world to
feature the Habana2000 wrapper alongside H Upmann, Por Larranga and
Santa Damiana.
