cigars. A bevy of15 big, beautiful Gurkha Grand Reserve Robusto
cigars laced with Remy Martin ($1,200 a bottle) Louis XIII Cognac.
Infused with Lousi XIII Cognac, Gurkha Grand Reserve is a
delectable medium-bodied cigar made from a 5-year aged
Connecticut Shade wrapper and 3-year long-fillers and binders
from the Dominican. The infusion process of the cognac is secret,
but rest assured it as a unique twist to a pleasant smoke.
The elegant Churchill is one of cigardom’s most popular shapes.
This Churchill makes a sleek statement of its smoker’s
discriminating taste. After a long and grueling day at the
office, it’s the perfect size to slowly relax with. Perhaps an
accompanying snifter of brandy will serve to make the experience
complete. There’s no one better than Kaizad Hansotia, the
knowledgeable maker of Gurkha cigars, to know the joys of the
Churchill smoke. After all, when it comes to manufacturing
quality Churchills, Gurkha is an acknowledged leader.
Gurkha Grand Reserve Cigars are infused with cognac for a unique
smoke. Winston Churchill was famous for dipping his cigars in
cognac to add an extra boost of flavor. At the time, before the
popularity of infused cigars, Winston was criticized for it, but
he was nonplussed responding to critics; “it’s my money, my
cigars, and I can do with them as I damn well please!”
Gurkha, however, doesn’t follow the method of simply dipping
their cigars, their method involves taking some of the finest
tobaccos grown in the Cibao Valley in the Dominican Republic,
wrapping them in a Connecticut shade grown wrapper which is
infused with Louis XIII, one the best cognac’s in the world.
Once the infusion process is complete, the cigars are
hermetically sealed in a crystal tube and sealed with wax to
allow the cigar to marinate and soak up the essence of the Louis
XIII Cognac. This infusion process makes smoking this cigar
absolutely bliss! The unique blend of tobacco and enticing aroma,
attracts even the most conservative cigar enthusiasts.
Fun Fact: Gurkha Grand Reserve was the celebratory cigar of
choice for Navy Seal Team 6.
