Nicaraguan tobacco is some of the finest, but boldest premium tobacco you can find. Alan Rubin's challenge for Nica Puro Rosado was to create an all Nicaraguan cigar (puro) that wouldn’t be a prototypical powerhouse. I blended with less of the robust tobaccos; allowing for the subtleties and undertones of the other leaves to shine through- similar to how a world class chef layers multiple ingredients to create a gourmet dish. Nica Puro Rosado showcases balance, sweetness and complexity-without being overpowering.
