Inside are specially formulated crystals containing propylene glycol to chemically balance the humidity level in your humidor. The crystal gels inside expand after absorbing distilled water and contract when it’s ready for a refill!

Note: You will only want to soak your dry unit for approximately 15 minutes on the initial fill. This is due to more effective crystals, which absorb the water at a faster rate and have increased water capacity. Each refill thereafter will only take approximately 5 minutes.
